These terms and conditions apply to all purchases made through the Golden Hours website (goldenhours.co.uk). By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms. Please read them carefully before purchasing.
All products are hand-poured candles made with natural soy wax and premium fragrance oils. Product images are for illustration purposes — slight variations in colour, texture, and finish are normal for handmade goods and are not considered defects.
Prices are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time without prior notice, but changes will not affect orders already placed.
When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation. This email confirms that we have received your order — it does not mean we have accepted it. We reserve the right to decline any order.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. We accept major credit and debit cards. Your payment information is never stored on our servers.
We deliver across the United Kingdom. Standard delivery (Royal Mail Tracked 48) is £3.99 and takes 2–3 working days. Orders over £50 qualify for free standard delivery.
Orders placed before 2pm GMT on a working day are dispatched the same day. We are not responsible for delays caused by Royal Mail or other carriers once the parcel has been handed over.
Due to the nature of our products, we cannot accept returns on candles that have been lit or used. However, under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving it, provided the product is unopened and in its original packaging.
To request a return, please email hello@goldenhours.co.uk with your order number. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
If your candle arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours with photographs of the damage and we will send a replacement or issue a full refund.
Discount codes are subject to the terms specified at the time of issue. They cannot be used in conjunction with other offers unless stated otherwise, are non-transferable, and have no cash value. We reserve the right to withdraw any discount code at any time.
All content on this website — including text, images, logos, and design — is the property of Golden Hours and is protected by UK copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content without our written permission.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Golden Hours shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of our website or products. Nothing in these terms excludes our liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
